Our Miss Brooks Radio Show

Our Miss Brooks was a radio comedy show that first aired on CBS Radio on July 19, 1948. It featured the story of an English teacher Connie Brooks,  portrayed by actress Eve Arden. It became a hit among many listeners that during its run, it received several awards including Eve Arden winning the Radio Mirror magazine’s poll for the best radio comedienne of the year for the years 1948 and 1949. The show ran from 1948 to 1957. Other actors and actresses included in the show were Gale Gordon, Don Porter, Robert Rockwell, Jane Morgan, and many others.
